Randy Anderson is a multi-talented artist who has made a mark in writing and photography. He has a passion for capturing life's moments and telling captivating stories. Randy has four self-published books each showcasing his unique perspective and eye for detail. The Way I See It, is a unique journey through the beautiful wildlife of Oklahoma, while The Mother Road-Route 66 in Oklahoma takes readers on a nostalgic trip down memory lane along the single, longest contiguous stretch of Route 66 left in America. Dancing with Butterflies is a large collection of Oklahoma’s beautiful butterflies, and Christmas Lights in Oklahoma captures the magic of the holiday season. These books were limited editions and are no longer in print. However, Randy is currently working on two new books to be published in late 2025.
In addition to his published books, Randy had 49 articles published in Distinctly Oklahoma Magazine prior to the magazine's closure. His articles delve into Oklahoma's history, culture, destinations, and landmarks, painting a vivid picture of life in this vibrant state. With a keen eye for detail and a love for storytelling, Randy has become a popular contributor to the magazine, and readers well-received his articles.
